Elders Amber and Jason Yubeta set up guardrails. Looking back at foundational concepts to help prepare us to live generationally. What to look out for and how to press through it.
Launching from this week’s Torah Portion Genesis 42:18-43:23, Apostles Tanya & Justin dive into a deeper level of WHY our gut beliefs and what happens with our past when we don’t deal with it.
Avoid the process – truth exposed
Engage the process – truth exposed
The only way to know what’s real, is to be tested, the only way to be tested is to engage the process, the only way to engage the process is to face the issues confronting you.
Stop turning away from the fight, turn into it, grab it, and endure the pressure. Let us be a people that presses through so we can walk in full freedom, ridding ourselves of a guilty conscience by dealing with our past!
Apostle Justin and Tanya release on Genesis 41:38-42:17! Joseph, a chosen son who operated in the fullness of humility and character, was placed in a position of authority to carry out divine strategy that would sustain generations to come. A Hebrew man in a foreign culture, Joseph was recognized by his connection to Ruach.
We learn from Joseph that being unforgiving about our past will safeguard from being trapped in the snare of bitterness.
Apostles Justin and Tanya release on Genesis 41:1-37! What happens when we go from prison TO the palace?! Everything Yahweh is after is in the “TO.” Your integrity, your endurance, being chosen, how you identify yourself, being in a place but not OF a place….
Many are called, few are chosen; why not you?
Apostles Justin and Tanya release on Genesis 40! Drawing from Joseph’s story, we are learning that trials absent of the Fathers presence and instruction will benefit us nothing. Trials are a mechanism of growth, and if we do not have the proper foundation, we will repeatedly go through hardships and not see Him; His goals for us will be left unfulfilled.
Apostles Justin and Tanya Brewer release on Genesis 39; going line by line of this passage, Yahweh reveals the attributes of a kingdom system and a religious system. How can we tell the difference and how do we maintain being IN it but not OF it!
Apostles Justin and Tanya release on Genesis 38! He will interrupt our story and birth something in our mess so that our promise can be fulfilled. The Messiah came through the brother that was the most transformed. Will we continue to stand in our own lawlessness and still say “I’m right”? Have we engaged in spiritual prostitution to fulfill YHWHs promise because we don’t like how He is going about it?
Apostles Justin and Tanya Brewer release on Genesis 37:1–36. This week we see the story of Joseph, a favored son, begin to unfold. Yahweh, in His sovereign nature, chooses those who will see His revelation. As followers of the way, we say YES to carrying forward His revelation, even in the face of ridicule. Will we be ones who despise the truth of Yahweh when it is revealed? Will we be ones who ignore, or outright seek to murder the revelation that He shares? This week we dive deep into the critical characteristics of Joseph, how he conducted himself, how his brothers responded to his revelations, and his part in the legacy story we are all part of.
Apostle Justin & Tanya release on the next Torah Portion: Genesis 35:9-36:43. Will we be ashamed or apologetic about our convictions at the expense of the next generation? Do we see discipleship as sweetness? Or are we subject to the whims of man?
We dive deep as we learn about wrestling with Yahweh as God and how it produces identity and gets us to a place of having consistent standards! It is easy to cry injustice when it fits our preconceived notions, but it is difficult to critique ourselves with the same standard. We are learning how to worship Him in fullness!
Apostle Justin and Tanya release on Genesis 33:18-35:8! If we choose to desire the world/flesh we excuse ourselves from His safety; claiming to be peacemakers, yet running from the injustice that is done and leaving the next generation to fight with vengeance. He is mantling each of us and it is up to us to not put an old thing back on!
